Day 1: Tangier →  Chefchaouen →  Fes

Meet at Tangier port. Drive through the scenic Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Explore its blue Medina. After lunch, continue to Fez for your overnight stay.

Day 2: Guided tour of Fes

Enjoy a guided tour of Fez. See the Royal Palace gate, Jewish Quarter (Mellah), Al Karaouine University, Tanneries, Attarine Museum, and Moulay Idriss Mausoleum. Overnight in Fez.

Day 3: Fes →  Azrou Forest →  Midelt → Merzouga

Travel through Ifrane (Morocco’s “Switzerland”) and Middle Atlas cedar forests. Lunch in Midelt. Continue via Ziz Valley and Erfoud to Merzouga. Arrive at your hotel near the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Day 4: Explore Merzouga area

Take a 4×4 tour around Erg Chebbi: visit Hassi Labied oasis, Sriji Lake (seasonal), Khamlia village (for Gnawa music), and M’ifis mines. Visit a nomadic Berber family and share tea. After lunch, ride camels into the dunes to your Berber camp. Watch the sunset and try sandboarding. Enjoy dinner and Berber music under the stars. Overnight in a desert tent.

Day 5: Merzouga →  Todgha Gorge →  Dades Valley

Watch the sunrise at camp. After breakfast, return by camel or 4WD. Drive towards Dades Valley, with an optional stop at Rissani market (if market day). Visit Todra Valley and walk through the impressive Todra Gorge. After lunch, continue to Dades Valley for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Dades Valley →  Ouarzazate →  Ait ben Haddou →  Marrakech

Drive through Rose Valley and Skoura palm grove to Ouarzazate. Visit Kasbah Taourirte (optional film studios stop). Explore the UNESCO Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. After lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi N’Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech for hotel transfer. Tour concludes.
