    Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca

    Welcome to Casablanca, Morocco’s vibrant economic heart. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to settle in. If time permits, consider an optional visit to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the few mosques in Morocco open to non-Muslims, impressively situated by the ocean. In the evening, enjoy free time to stroll along the Corniche or savor local cuisine at a typical restaurant.

    Day 2: Casablanca Rabat Meknes Fes

    After an early breakfast, we depart for Rabat, the nation’s administrative capital. Explore its iconic landmarks: the picturesque Kasbah of the Oudayas with its blue-washed streets and sea views, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the historic Hassan Tower. Continue to Meknes, another Imperial city, to admire its ancient ramparts, the stunning Bab Mansour Gate, and the old royal granaries (Heri es-Souani). Our day concludes in Fes, Morocco’s oldest and most culturally rich imperial city.

    Day 3: Visit Fez with a local guide

    Today is dedicated to exploring Fes el-Bali, the world’s best-preserved medieval medina and a UNESCO World Heritage site. With your expert local guide, navigate its labyrinthine alleyways, discovering treasures like the University of Al-Qarawiyyin (one of the world’s oldest), the Andalusian Mosque, and the bustling spice and handicraft souks. A highlight is visiting the Chouara tanneries to witness the traditional leather dyeing process. Enjoy free time this afternoon to explore further or unwind with a traditional hammam experience.

    Day 4: Fez Rif Massif Chefchaouen (the blue city)Fes

    Embark on a full-day excursion north into the scenic Rif Massif, a region of verdant landscapes and charming villages. Our primary destination is Chefchaouen, the famed ‘Blue Pearl’ of Morocco, renowned for its striking blue-rinsed buildings and tranquil atmosphere. Wander through Uta el-Hammam Square, see the Grand Mosque, or hike to the Spanish Mosque viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic vistas. In the late afternoon, we return to Fes.

    Day 5: Fes Ifrane Azrou Erfoud Merzouga

    An early departure takes us towards the Sahara Desert, with captivating stops en route. First, visit Ifrane, known as ‘Morocco’s Switzerland’ for its alpine architecture. Next, in Azrou’s Cedar Forest, watch for wild Barbary macaques. Journey onward to Erfoud, the gateway to the desert, famed for its fossils. Finally, arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, swap vehicles for camels and trek into the desert to reach your Berber camp for an unforgettable night under a star-studded sky.

    Day 6: Merzouga Berber families Merzouga

    Awaken to a magical desert sunrise, as the first rays illuminate the golden dunes. After breakfast, immerse yourself in local culture by visiting nomadic Berber families, learning about their traditional way of life and sharing tea. This afternoon, you have the option of a thrilling 4×4 desert exploration to discover oases and nearby villages, or simply relax at your Merzouga hotel, perhaps enjoying another camel ride at sunset. Overnight in Merzouga.

    Day 7: Merzouga Rissani Todra Gorges Dades Valley

    Depart Merzouga for Rissani, the ancient capital of the Alaouite dynasty, known for its vibrant market (especially on market days) featuring dates and desert crafts. The journey then leads to the Todra Gorges, an impressive canyon with rock walls towering up to 300 meters – perfect for a stroll and photos. In the afternoon, arrive in the Dades Valley, dubbed ‘the valley of a thousand kasbahs,’ where palm groves and reddish mountains create a spectacular panorama. Overnight in a traditional kasbah or hotel overlooking the valley.
