Your day trip to the amazing Ouzoud Falls starts in Marrakech around 8:30 am. We’ll pick you up from your hotel or a nearby spot if your riad is hard to reach. You’ll travel in a comfy, air-conditioned minibus with a small group. It’s a pretty 3-hour drive north, and you’ll see the Tadla plains with many olive, peach, and apricot trees.
When you arrive, you can hire a local guide for a small cost (about 3 euros) to walk with you down to the springs. This walk has great views as you get closer to the big 110-meter Ouzoud waterfalls, and you might even see a rainbow. You’ll probably see playful Barbary monkeys along the way.
Enjoy a break and maybe have lunch at a nice cafe near the water. Afterwards, you’ll walk back up to the village. Then, your driver will take you back to Marrakech. Your trip ends in the late afternoon, around 7 or 8 pm, when we drop you off where we picked you up.
