Your driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech in the morning. The journey starts by crossing the High Atlas Mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, with scenic views and photo stops along the way.
You will continue toward Ait Ben Haddou, a famous UNESCO-listed ksar known for its old earthen architecture and film locations. After the visit, the route continues through Ouarzazate and the road of the kasbahs.
In the afternoon, we continue toward the Dades Valley, passing Skoura, Kalaat M’Gouna, and beautiful valley landscapes. The first night is spent in the Dades area, where dinner and breakfast are usually included.
After breakfast, your driver will take you through the Dades Valley and toward Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive canyon areas in southern Morocco. You can enjoy a short walk between the high cliffs before continuing toward the desert.
The route continues through Tinjdad, Erfoud, and desert towns before reaching Merzouga, near the Erg Chebbi dunes.
In Merzouga, you will ride camels or take a 4×4 transfer to the desert camp. After arrival, you can enjoy the sunset over the dunes, dinner at the camp, and a peaceful night in the Sahara Desert.
This day gives you more time to enjoy the Merzouga desert area. Depending on your preference, we can arrange a relaxed morning, a 4×4 tour around Erg Chebbi, a visit to Khamlia village, or time with nomad families near the dunes.
You can also enjoy optional activities such as quad biking or sandboarding. The plan can be adjusted depending on your travel style and the season.
The night can be spent in Merzouga or in another stop along the return route, depending on the itinerary confirmed with our team.
After breakfast, your driver will take you back toward Marrakech. The route passes through desert landscapes, valleys, mountain roads, and small towns along the way.
There will be stops for breaks, photos, and lunch during the journey. Your driver will then continue across the High Atlas Mountains.
The tour ends with drop-off at your hotel, riad, or preferred location in Marrakech.
